The joint effect of direct and alternating sinusoidal currents of different amplitudes and frequences on the mechanical properties of the nickel coatings (the strength limit, internal stress) is investigated. The data obtained are compared with the results of structural invetigations. The laws of the crystal grouth and formation of nickel layers in the non-stationary mode of electrolysis are determined.
