Abstract

The water from the emergency dam of "Dundee Precious Metals Kapan" CJSC ("Pioneer Dam") which flows to the river Khalaj and then to the Voghji may have a negative impact on the ecological situation in the region. This study presents the results of the impact assessment "Pioneer dam" on the quality of the water of the river Khalaj directly, and indirectly on the quality of the water of the river Voghji.
