Abstract

At the end of the 20th century, the Karabakh conflict reached its peak and was accompanied by a storm of national movements and tremors intensified in the USSR. Turkey's role in the conflict is introduced. The fact of combining of Muslim peoples against the local peasant population is proved. This threat exists until now and may have serious consequences for the region.
