Abstract

After the power collapse in multisupply systems, the basic problems occur when different supply domains cross the conflicted point. For example, when p-MOS transistor bulk node is connected to one of the supplies which needs to be collapsed, a potential leakage DC path will occur due to the source-bulk p-n junction. It depends on where the source of the transistor connected in the circuit current leakage could be high. As a solution (for problems described below) the bulk node should be connected to a high voltage point in case of power collapse. The power collapse protection system should automatically switch the bulk supply to the highest potential point (to the supply which is still available).
