A structure of a device for finishing butt welds of thin wall pipes of large diameter (D=300 ...1500mm) is proposed, in the casing of which there are in pairs and oppositely installed slot-cleaning and plastic deforming rollers operating on the running-in friction principle. An electric drive is installed on the device casing outside, transmitting rotation to two round semi-levers pivotally mounted on a large gear wheel inside the casing. The relative mutual movement of the semi-levers is carried out by a threaded connection. Rectangular recesses are made on the semi-levers, where these four rollers are located. A unit with a brush is also installed on one of the semi-levers in order to clean the weld during its grinding and application of an anticorrosive coating on the seam surface. The use of this device significantly reduces the volume and timing of manual finishing work on pipelines, increases the operational reliability and extends the service life of pipelines.
