THE STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRIC CARS: GLOBAL TRENDS

Abstract

The issues on current state of the electric transport industry in the world, first of all, the dynamics and volume of the market, the state policy for the development of electric transport are considered. The factors of market development - the influence of electric transport on the energy balance, consumer demand and the cost of owning an electric car, the development of related technologies and markets, the state policy are presented. Recommendations on the development of electric transport in Republic of Armenia are giv­en.
