CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN THE CONTEXT OF INVESTMENT OF GREEN TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

The circular economy is an important tool for the implementation of green technologies, which is aimed at the multiple use of resources and the reduction of waste. As a closed system, the circular economy applies the principle of recycling, optimizing the use of natural resources. The implementation of green technologies contributes not only to the preservation of ecosystems, but also to the creation of new jobs and the improvement of the quality of life. The work considers the conceptual version of the solution to the contradictions between the main goal of business activity: making a profit, saving resources, and preserving the environment. It is proposed to introduce green business models in Armenia based on the concept of a circular economy. The implementation of green business models will contribute to both economic growth and environmental sustainability, creating new opportunities for enterprises.
