Abstract

In the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviet Union, intellectuals having freedom-loving ideas were persecuted and punished. In those years S.I. Parajanov and V.S. Visotski were distinguished by their freedom –loving ideas. Parajanov spent more than 4 years in prison, where he created highly artistic works “The Pomegranate Colour”, “Letters from Prison”. In those works Parajanov shows his attide to freedom.
