ASSESSING THE POLLUTION DEGREE OF RIVER WATER BY SOME HEAVY METALS AT MAINTAINING SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANTS

Abstract

At present, issues on using a cascade of mountain rivers is very important to get inexpensive and ecologically clean electric power in Armenia. In this context, the method of quantitative determination of heavy metals in the plants caused by the operation of hydropower plants is applied. The results allow to define the zone of distribution of elements in the riverbank soil.
