Abstract

The output power of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems strongly depends on the tilt angle of the solar PV module. The maximum output power of a PV plant can be obtained if the PV modules are placed under the optimal tilt angle. A mathematical model for estimating the solar radiation on the tilted surface is presented.
