PROSPECTS FOR THE USE OF STORM SEWER WATER FOR AGRICULTURE AND OTHER NEEDS

Abstract

The purpose of a storm sewer is the organized drainage of rain and surface water from the territory of a populated area, which ensures an appropriate sanitary and hygienic level. Currently, the state of storm drainage systems in urban and rural settlements of Armenia is physically and morally worn out and outdated, or is absent altogether, which leads to a number of problems. The article presents some methods for installing storm sewers in rural areas, the construction of which is a direct necessity. We believe that in the current undesirable global climate change, water collected through storm drains should be treated and used for agriculture and other needs.
