Abstract

The article theoretically analyzes the possibilities of obtaining cast iron objects in the early Iron Age and the materials and operations required for this. It is significant that, along with the smelting of iron, it was possible to simultaneously obtain such materials and objects as charcoal, lime, limestone mortar, burnt ore, ceramics and bricks.
