WAVEGUIDE TRANSITIONS FOR HORN-LINE TERAHERTZ ANTENNE

The issue of transitions between DC waveguides with different cross sections is considered. When constructing circuits for various purposes, it becomes necessary to use waveguide transitions with different cross-sectional dimensions at the input and output. At that in the case of applying multiwave waveguides, waves of higher types arise. In such devices, the conversion of operating modes to higher wave types should be minimal. By using the Feld-Zachson method, it is possible to calculate the level of conversion of the working mode to higher types of waves and the main dimensions of the proposed transitions.
