Abstract

The cases of the term polysemy and homonymy in the Armenian scientific and technical terminology are considered. Polysemy, being a regularity of the word stock development, is unavoidable in terminology, too. While unreasonable homonymy can create a confusion when using terms, it is necessary that specialists sometimes revise and clarify the terms used in their areas of research.
