RAINWATER COLLECTION IN BUILDING DRAINPIPE AND PROSPECTS FOR ITS USE

Abstract

Due to the current undesirable global climate change, heavy rains have become more frequent, which flood the streets and underground utilities of large cities within a few hours, sometimes creating catastrophic situations. On the other hand, especially in large cities, the average annual temperature has increased significantly and the amount of precipitation has decreased, which is also associated with climate change. These weather anomalies significantly complicate the normal functioning of cities, and also significantly affect the degradation of green areas of cities.

The article presents methods for accumulating rainwater in building gutters, which can be used for both irrigation and technical purposes. This solution will also play a rather deterrent role in preventing flooding of urban areas, which in turn will improve the sanitary and hygienic level.
