Abstract

Currently, there are different monitoring systems that are designed for optical control. The operation of these systems is based on its qualitative and quantitative assessment of the composition of optically transparent materials from the output optical signal. Such systems are used in areas such as environmental protection from pollutants and radiation, food and beverage production, agriculture, veterinary medicine, wastewater management, clinical diagnostics, drug monitoring, etc. Obviously, the scope of application is quite diverse and covers a wide range of applications. Therefore, such optical systems need further improvement, and research should be directed to miniaturization of sizes, reduction in the cost of production, and increase in the sensitivity and accuracy of these systems. Of great importance is the need to improve systems for remote monitoring of harmful substances in online mode. The aim of this paper is to integrate the results of current and voltage measurements on a photodetector sample with an opposite double potential barrier and a previously developed algorithm in the LabView software environment. A software package has been created that makes it possible to investigate the values of photosensitivity and wavelength parameters. An interactive interface has been developed that will allow obtaining spectral characteristics and studying them online. In addition, for the purpose of comparative analysis of the results, this algorithm was implemented in Excel.

The developed interactive packages in the LabView and Excel environments make it possible to study the main characteristics of a photodetector with an opposite double potential barrier, and to obtain information about the absorption wavelengths in a particular medium. Based on this interface, it is possible to carry out spectral analysis of radiation. A comparative analysis of the obtained results was carried out. Coincidence of characteristics with great accuracy is obtained. The results make it possible to include the Arduino Duo platform in analytical work.
