Abstract

A method for determining the optimal dispersion of the granulometric characteristics of ore grinding is proposed. It is known that the technological systems for grinding ore raw materials have a pronounced random character, therefore, deterministic approaches to their analysis and mathematical modeling take us far from real tasks, and results obtained through such methods are far from reality and cannot provide reasonable control over the studied grinding processes. Therefore, it is necessary to use modern methods of stochastic modeling, taking into account the existing uncertainties adhere to random distribution laws. From this point of view, for technological processes of grinding ore raw materials, it is necessary to construct mathematical integrated models containing controlled dispersions of granulometric characteristics while taking into account the contribution function, ensuring the maximum metal recovery in a subsequent flotation process. As an efficiency criterion using the integral, which is the mathematical expectation of the determinate contribution function, by varying the dispersion of the particle size distribution within technologically reasonable limits, we choose the optimal numerical value of the dispersion at which the maximum metal recovery is achieved.

The process of searching for the optimal form of particle size distribution was carried out in the environment of the MathCad-14 software package.
