Abstract

The vast majority of the ore and raw materials resources of Republic of Armenia are polymetallic minerals, during the development of which, due to the imperfection of technologies in the production cycle, valuable metals are lost. In the process of flotation, it is difficult to completely separate the sulfide minerals of various metals form each other, and it is almost impossible to obtain a concentrate of pure lead from a multimetal ore. Proceeding from the above, and taking into account the technological features of the extraction of copper, zinc, lead by leaching from local polymetallic minerals, the possibilities of the most effective deposition of polymetallic concentrate with a high lead content were studied and tested. The substance under study is a high-molecular synthetic polyelectrolyte, the basis of which is acrylamide. I dissolves well in water, is able to provide high flocculation efficiency in various pH environments. The experimental method shows how the flocculant is quickly dissolved in water, resulting in pure clarity. Experiments and graphic images in various pH environments allowed to choose the most optimal parameters. A flocculant is a means to purity water and restore transparency, which increases the fine particles in the water.

In the first part of the experiment, three different types of flocculant brands were investigated and those that provide the highest speed of the planting process were selected. Based on the experimental results, in the second part of the experiment, the behaviour of the selected flocculant of the 336 brand under various pH conditions was studied separately. As a result of the study , it was revealed that three brands of flocculant tested have a good effect on the rapid planting of the concentrate. It is shown that the fastest and purest clarity is manifested with the use of the magnafloc 336 brand. The optimal planting medium is pH=11. An increase in the pH level, or its subsequent increase helps to slow down the shrinkage of particles.
