Abstract

The tribological properties of friction materials widely spread in the car spare parts` markets of the CIS countries are investigated under the friction temperature conditions above 220 ... 2600С. It is proved that there is a directly proportional relationship between the wear resistance of the material and the value of the temperature rise at one braking.
