Abstract

Diamond powders and ligaments used at stone processing are studied, and the technological factors having the greatest impact on the diamond tool stability are studied based on which, ways to increase the stability are proposed. Particularly М2-01, М6-14 and М6-15 ligaments are proposed for adoption of critical load quantities, respectively 3,1 . 105; 3,8 . 105 and 4,9.105 of the cycles. It is shown that by metallization, a strong bond between the diamond particles and metal ligaments, increasing the durability of the diamond-metall tool is established.
