CONTACT INTERACTIONS ON THE FRICTION SURFACE OF THE CUTTER MADE OF B14M7K25 AT PROCESSING STAINLESS STELL 2X13

The peculiarities of interaction of contact pairs at processing stainless steel 2X13 with cutters made of B14M7K25 are investigated. It is shown that the front surface of the tool is not practically worn as in the contact zone, there is a stable stagnant layer of strongly deformed riveted particles of the processed material resulting in slowing the wear intensity of the cutter. The mentioned effect results in the increase of the wear resistance and exploitation durability of the tool in the process in the treating stainless steel 2X13.
