THE ROLE OF INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPONENTS IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION

Abstract

The role and importance of innovation and entrepreneurship components in engineering education is considered. The issues of the importance and need of the components in the preparation of qualified specialists for the field are discussed. The result of the servey realized within Erasmus+ InnoCENS “Enhancing Innovation Competences and ENtrepreneurial Skills in engineering education” project framework is given. The results clearly reflect the current situation and include all stakeholders: employers, universities and students.
