THE EVENT «A WEEK OF THE SPORTS SCIENCE» IN ST. PETERSBURG AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEORY AND METHODOLOGY OF SWIMMING

Abstract

The analysis of the participation of the NPUA teachers in the events «The week of sports science in St. Petersburg is introduced. The Components of the event are: a coaching seminar together with the international conference (collaboration with scientists` practice), a course of lectures of leading experts, round tables, discussions, presentations and master classes by leading experts of navigation which are included in the program of short-term training courses. The project contributes to the realization of the accumulated information, best practices, development of theory and methods of competitive swimming.
