Abstract

To dispose the polymer wastes, such as plastic bottles, packages, medical waste, etc, which are hazardous to the environment, a technology has been proposed for producing fuel by pyrolysis of these polymer wastes. The pyrolysis reaction is carried out in the temperature range of 350…600 ° C, at atmospheric pressure. As a result of pyrolysis, various fractions are obtained which are a hydrocarbon mixture of a complex composition suitable for combustion as a fuel.
