THE MYSTERY OF WOMANHOOD IN HISTORIC AND COSMOLOGIC TIME IN THE BOOK BY SERO KHANZADYAN “THE ARMENIAN QUEEN”

Abstract

The image of the Armenian woman based on the novel “The Armenian Queen” by Sero Khanzadyan in the context of the national tradition and value is considered. By paralelly comparing the images of the Queen Mary-Luis, Nuar, an elderly women from Syunik, and a young woman from Artsakh, the mystery of womanhood is revealed by the terms woman-mother, woman-lover, woman-queen, (war-leader-diplomat), woman-motherland, woman-adviser, woman-soldier. The goal of the study is to cօnsider the national culture of harmonious alliance of an Armenian man and woman consecrated in centuries.
