COMPUTER SIMULATION OF DRAWING A RECTANGULAR SECTION SAMPLE IN A WEDGE-SHAPED DIE AT DIFFERENT ANGLES OF INCLINATION OF THE WEDGE

Modeling and investigation of the stress-strain state of the drawing process of a rectangular section sample in a wedge-shaped die with different angles of inclination in an automated program environment (APE) under the conditions of flat deformation are carried out. Before modeling the drawing process, a wedge-shaped die was designed, taking into account the circumstances that there is no model of a wedge-shaped die with the possibility of changing the angles of inclination because of the small knowledge of drawing rectangular section samples. The zones of distribution of the components of the stress-strain state are shown. On the basis of the obtained results, the influence of different angles of inclination of the wedge is investigated. It is shown that when the angle of inclination increases, there are accumulations of tangential stresses and an increase in plastic deformations, as a result of which there is a danger of shear, and hence a product with a distorted surface, so it is recommended to choose the angle of inclination within, or to carry out drawing at smaller angles in several moves.
