The advantages and features of using boron carbide as an alloying component in order to create nanoscale composite materials (CM) were considered. The results of experiments for the production of CM with a homogeneous structure of Al+5%Cu+B4C are shown. B4C nanoparticles in the parent melt are described. The optimal quantities of the size ratios and additive ratios of boron carbide particles in the parent alloy are substantiated.
