Abstract

Currently, the use of solar photovoltaic modules in the energy sector plays a key role. The main characteristic of photovoltaic modules is the efficiency. It depends on the properties of the solar cells of modules, as well as the impact of the environment. The most important of these is the pollution of the surface of the modules and the ambient temperature. In this work the effects of dust and heat on the efficiency of solar modules are experimentally investigated. The measurement method and the measurement procedure are presented. Experimental studies show the significant effects of dust and heat on the efficiency of solar photovoltaic modules in Yerevan.
