Abstract

At present, numerous studies and methods for the gravitational bypass of the rock mass are known along the slopes of the upland quarry to the reception areas or in the ore outlets. However, they do not address the issues related to the transportation of the mountain mass under its own weight in the working bay of a highland-type quarry leaning against a tectonic fault and simultaneously being affected by the weight of the rock mass of a natural slope extending above the upper edge of the pit edge.

A brief critical analysis of the most known methods of gravitational bypass of the rock mass by ore-grades on upland quarries is made, the most characteristic technical solutions based on the control of the state weakened by the aforementioned causes of the working side of

the highland quarry were chosen by leaving the V-shaped retaining lobe along the entire length. The ineffectiveness of this method is shown connected with the forward movement of the sites on the ledges of the bead with the unchanged spatial position of the prefabricated and trunked ore-bearing rocks on the V-shaped pole. The further use of such an ore-roll is associated with the creation of additional transport links between the new working platforms of ledges with prefabricated and trunked orerolls built earlier on the retaining lintel. This approach contributes to the organization of a safe and efficient gravitational way of ore bypass on the oreroll, built on a tectonic fault weakened by the board of the mountainous quarry.
