THE RATING ESTIMATION OF THE ROCK MASS OF THE NORTH-WEST WALL IN QAJARAN QUARRY "ZANGEZUR CMP"

Abstract

Nowadays, there are different well-knoun classification systems to estimate the state of the rock mass. By several researchers, it is recommended to use an exact classification system which allows to estimate the stability of the studied object and to solve other engineering problems. In this paper, the advanced worldwide experience of the rock mass rating classification systems is analyzed. It is offered to use it for estimating the stability of the geotechnical constructions of the Armenia’s mining enterprises.
