After plastic deformation (cold rolling) aluminum foil loses its plasticity and acquires forged properties. For further rolling, it is necessary to carry oul an annealing process. Annealing provides recrystallization of aluminum foil, which restores the original properties of the alloy. The degree of recrystallization is determined by X-ray diffraction, which is based on the texturing of the excess phase AlFeSi. The aluminum foil samples were examined on the X-ray diffractometer EMPYREAN, Panalytical with a vertically arranged high-resolution goniometer on Cuk-α radiation at a voltage of 40 kV and a current of 45 mA.
