INVESTIGATING THE LOW-MELTING GLASSES IN THE SYSTEMS BiBO3 - SrB2O4 AND BiBO3 - CaB2O4

Abstract

The glass formation areas and constitution diagrams of pseudo-binary systems are studied in the ternary systems CaO-Bi2O3-B2O3 and SrO-Bi2O3-B2O3. On the basis of eutectic composition of these systems, the system 90BiBO3 · 10SrB2O4 - 80BiBO3 · 20 CaB2O4 has bees developed. DTA of glasses, the change interval of TCLE and the wetting angle curves of fusible glasses have been revealed in the developed system. As a result, low-melting glass composition with a particular value of TCLE for the further development of solders has been developed
