INVESTIGATING THE SILICATE FORMATION AND GLASS FORMATION PROCESSES WITH ELECTRON-TUBE GLASS C72-4

Abstract

Processes of silicate formation in the heat-treatment process of the glass batch C72-4 have been studied, the temperature of the glass melt has been determined.The investigations have been carried out by X- ray phase anaiysis. It has been determined that the processes of silicate formation proceed more intensively beginning from 900⁰C. The investigation results have revealed the phase conversions and temperature for the formation of a uniform glass melt - 1450⁰C.
