THE DEVELOPMENT OF CALCULATION MODELS OF LOAD-LOADING SYSTEMS OF PASSENGER VEHICLES

An analysis of the development process and features of calculation models of load-bearing systems of passenger cars is carried out using numerical methods. As an example of the use of numerical methods, the possibilities of using the finite element method are presented. Using software packages created on the basis of this method, calculation models of load-bearing systems of complex spatial structure for passenger cars of various brands have been developed, and the features of modeling in cases of bending and torsional loading, as well as in cases of various vehicle collision patterns, have been considered.
Methods for using and modeling membrane-type structural elements in components of load-bearing systems of complex spatial structures of passenger cars and their connections are substantiated. Boundary conditions for ensuring processes of component elements touching each other as a result of changes in loads acting on the load-bearing systems are modeled.
