Abstract

A-Do (Hovhannes Ter-Martirosyan) is considered the first Armenian professional statistician. The enormous historical, political, statistical, diary, publicistic and memoiristic legacy he left behind is of great source study value, which can bring not only corrections to the knowledge of historical events and persons, as well as the perceptions of the history of the Armenian literature, but also sometimes become the basis for serious edits.
