The peculiarities of the Armenian, Russian and English phraseological units with the component “eye” expressing attention and control are considered. The studies reveal some similarities and differences of the mentioned peculiarities which come to prove the similarities and differences in the linguistic thinking of the peoples speaking the mentioned languages.
