DETECTING THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE DEVIATIONS IN TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER NODES OF INEGRATED CIRCUITS

The speed and performance of transmitter-receiver nodes in integrated circuits (IC) are limited by variations of the process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions. To improve the operating speed, a system is proposed for detecting and evaluating the supply voltage deviations, which allows to monitor variations of supply voltage during the whole period of operation of the integrated circuit and send a calibration signal to appropriate systems, if necessary.
