This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the evolving logistical landscape in the Middle East and South Caucasus, with a specific focus on Armenia's potential role as a key transit hub within the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). The analysis examines the viability of the Iran-Armenia-Georgia line, considering its physical infrastructure, the complex geopolitical forces at play, and the unique economic opportunities it presents. The findings indicate that while significant infrastructure and governance challenges persist, Armenia's strategic position and its government's commitment to the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative offer a compelling counter-narrative to competing corridors. The report further argues that the integration of energy-efficient technologies, particularly leveraging Armenia's mountainous geography, could transform the country's primary logistical challenge into a distinct competitive advantage, positioning it as a leader in energy-efficient, sustainable transport and an attractive destination for foreign investment.
