Abstract

In the context of climate change and growing global demand for hydrocarbons, there is an increasing need to find new solutions to ensure sustainable transport logistics that will facilitate the development of natural resources and the integration of the northern regions of the Russian Federation into a single transport system.

The topic is devoted to the challenges and prospects for the development of transport logistics in the northern regions of the Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to the current state of transport infrastructure, climatic, infrastructural, and socio- economic constraints, and their impact on the social and economic development of the regions. Possible measures are proposed to modernize the transport system, including the development of the Northern Sea Route, to implement intelligent transport systems, and to introduce autonomous and environmentally friendly transport. The role of digitalization and the integration of modern technologies in improving transport accessibility and the efficiency of logistics processes is analyzed. The implementation of the proposed measures can ensure the sustainable development of the northern regions, improve living the conditions, and integrate the Russian Arctic zone into the global economy.
