DESIGNING AN EXPERIMENT OF A FRICTION MODEL DERIVATION FOR AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS

Abstract

In the paper, the problem of friction model derivation and its importance for the aerospace applications are considered. A method of non-flight experimental evaluation of the relation of friction forces to the flight conditions is proposed. The mathematical basis of the experiment and the schematic representation of the stand for trials are presented. The implementation of experiments will lead to the derivation of a novel friction model which is acceptable for the aerospace applications.
