EXTRACTION OF PHENOL FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS BY MODIFIED POMEGRANATE PEEL
Keywords:

The results of the study of the adsorption activity for untreated and modified pomegranate peel (treated with phosphoric acid) at extracting phenol from the aqueous medium are presented. The adsorption activity is assessed by using infrared spectroscopy measurements. Equilibrium isotherms are analyzed, using the Langmuir isotherm equation which describes the equilibrium state of the adsorption process.
