Abstract

Some peculiarities of the methods for teaching general physics at an engineering higher educational institution are considered. The rapid development of physics and its increasing connection with technology show the important role of the subject at an engineering institu­te which is the basis for the future engineer’s theo­retical training, because it is impossible to have a successful activity without it.
