THE BINDING ENERGY OF THE SCREENED COULOMB CENTER IN A SEMICONDUCTOR QUANTUM WIRE

The formalism of the screened Coulomb center binding energy in the semiconductor quantum wire embedded in a barrier environment is calculated. With the account of strongly low dielectric properties of the barrier environment, both the analytical expression of the binding energy is derived for the first time and the numerical analysis of the latter depending on wire radius is provided.
