Abstract

The casting methods and formation of the structure and properties of deformable aluminum alloys with an Al-Cu composition are studied. As a result of complex studies the improved modes of casting an aluminum deformable alloy containing 5,7...6,5% copper were selected and established, according to which the temperature of the melt filling should be in the range of 730±100C, the temperature of the mold - 120±100C, in which case the fluidity is 430 mm, the linear shrinkage – 1,6...1,65%, HB=1230...1250 MPa, σв=415...420 MN/m2, δ= 6...7%.
