Abstract

The issues of the influence of mineral and chemical additives for activating the components of the recipe compositions of concrete mixtures and modified concretes with increased physical and mechanical properties are considered. Based on the results of the research, the prospects for using self-compacting concrete mixtures are considered, the advantages of their properties are presented: viscosity characteristic of conventional concrete, a significant reduction in ultimate shear stress, elimination of the phenomenon of delamination, complete filling of the formwork. The advantage of self-compacting concrete over conventional concrete is substantiated, the required quantities and requirements for SCC components are presented: Industries for the use of SCC are considered and examples of international practical application of SCCМ in developed countries are presented.
