Abstract

The phenomenon of the decrease in the specific productivity during the increase in the diameter of the salting chamber of vibrating mills due to energy dissipation during load transfer from layer to layer is considered. The dependences of the average power delivered to the unit mass of the load on the diameter of the salting chamber at different values of the oscillation amplitude are constructed. It has been established that keeping the diameters of the salting chamber and grinding bodies as rational as possible can reduce the phenomenon of energy extinction.
