FROM THE HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARMENIAN MEDIEVAL PEDAGOGICAL THOUGHT

Abstract

In the early Middle Ages, after the Armenian alphabet was created by Mesrop Mashtots, together with the educational movement and school creation, the theory of pedagogy was established in Armenia, which, being enriched and improved from century to century, became a powerful background for the development of the Armenian pedagogical thought. Due to the activities of prominent Armenian teacher-scientists, in the middle ages, the pedagogical thought obtained a progressive nature with certain peculiarities of its development considered in the present work.
