The issues on obtaining a vitreous potassium - phosphate fertilizer with at least 95 wt.% of nutrient content, with a complex of microelements are considered. The vitreous form of the fertilizer is necessary to ensure a long-term action. The K2O - P2O5 system, in which a wide region of glass formation is observed, serves as a basis for the fertilizer. The amount of K2O can reach up to 60 mol.%. Based on this system, a number of glasses, in which the total content of K2O + P2O5 was 90 wt.% was synthesized. In order to improve the technological properties of this composition, MgO, CaO, B2O3 in the amount of 10 wt.% were also added. The whole complex of microelements was added in the final composition. Tests of vitreous fertilizers showed an increase in harvest compared with conventional fertilizers for potatoes and tomatoes on average by 15…20%. Fertilizer tests on “Marfona” potatoes showed an increase of harvest by 84.6%. In terms of quality, the culture has high characteristics: it is harmless, does not contain toxic materials. Cabbage has an increase in sugar and vitamin “C”. The vitreous fertilizer SU-95, in terms of nutrient concentration, exceeds the conventional fertilizers 2.5…3 times. It does not contain ballast, and has the entire spectrum of microelements. In chemical composition, one ton of vitreous fertilizer SU-95 is equivalent to 4.2 tons of conventional fertilizer. Due to its vitreous form, SU-95 has an adjustable solubility, which allows to use the fertilizer only once in 3…5 years. It is recommended to use the vitreous fertilizer in drip irrigation systems in greenhouse farms, which will provide the greatest efficiency and economic benefit.
