Abstract

Pseudomonas maltophilia (Stenotrophomonas maltophilia) is common in nature, which are involved in biodegradation of natural and synthetic xenobiotics. In present work, the differences between the effect of EDTA on antibiotic resistant and sensitive strains of Pseudomonas maltophilia are described. According to the obtained data, antibiotic resistant strains are more sensitive to EDTA than the sensitive representatives of the same species.
